WHAT IS THE GUELPH TRIATHLON CLUB?

The city of Guelph enjoys a long and storied triathlon history. Subaru Triathlon Series holds two races every year at Guelph Lake, which include a Tri-a-Tri entry level Triathlon, Sprint and Olympic Triathlons, Duathlon races and a Kids run. In 2007, Guelph hosted the Provincial Duathlon Championships.

Guelph is also home to hundreds of kilometers of running trails and country roads that are perfect for running and biking. There are also numerous pools, including Victor Davis and the University of Guelph. And of course there is Guelph Lake…

With so many options to swim, bike and run, Guelph is a natural spot for triathletes in Canada. The Guelph Triathlon Club is a large group of triathletes and duathletes who share a passion for this sport and train together, encouraging and supporting each other to achieve their personal athletic goals and aspirations.
